Hi Cath – thank you so much. Time – and it has been 21 years – is the healer. Nobody’s gonna die over a market crash, that’s for sure. I think not thinking about it is a good partial strategy – ignore the doomsayers. You’ve been doing great work lately! We’re gonna talk about that and more!

OMG Betsy – what a brilliantly written post. How awful for you to have lost your son. But still, you’re managing to stay positive and influence others to do so, despite this crash.

I have not yet given too much thought to how to cope with the recession. To be honest – I try not to think about it too much, although I know that’s not ideal either. Now I’m working at home again, I’m probably going to sell my car. Stuart has a company car anyway. And I don’t really drive much right now, as the medication I’m on makes me drowsy.

But I’m looking forward to your advice in the future posts you mentioned.

Oh – and I owe you an email. I have not figured out how to put flags on posts I need to reply to in gmail yet.
