OUR JUNE GARDEN IN CLOSE-UP

by Betsy Wuebker on June 16, 2009

garden-022Saving what I have to say to do our weekend in Galena justice.  In the meantime, we came home to lots of growth and activity in the June garden.  I had Pete take some close-up photos for you to enjoy the transition.

Hi Kayla – Thank you! We’re finally getting some rain now, desperately needed.

Hi Vered – Thanks! I was amazed what happened in the few days we were gone. Things are really accelerating.

Hi Leigh – Welcome! Thank you. We weren’t sure what was going to happen as we badly needed some rain. Hoping to stock up on perennials now as they go on sale. It never ends.

Hi Dot – Thanks! Yes, we changed our twitter gravatars to show solidarity with the Iranian protesters!

Hi Patricia – We’ve had lots of rain this week, finally. Don’t knock peas. I remember Pete’s first potato from the garden years ago: the size of a green pea! :D
