Hi Internet Strategist – Welcome to PassingThru! Triiibes is a closed network that uses the Ning platform. I’m pretty familiar with Ning, although it does have a few annoying quirks. I’d say it’d be about as good as anything for what you propose. Thanks for stopping in and hope you stick around.

I too haven’t heard of Triibes. And I wouldn’t worry about the smarter thing, everyone is smarter than someone else in different fields and subjects (not to say you were worrying).

Hi Jannie – Triiibes is a private community created by Seth Godin in consort with his book by the same name. Lots of very smart people in there, but also spending time in there kept me from doing other stuff. It was cool to meet Bernd, though. I will ask him for the photo of us. Thanks!
