It might strike some as ironic to hold a day of silence on this blog, as our posts have been quite infrequent due to other commitments and circumstances at present. But in the face of the overwhelming tragedy in Japan, we all simply must do something. Click here to join us in a monetary donation if you are so inclined.

Beautiful thought, My heart goes out to Japan as I watch the news in awe, praying the lost are found alive and terrified for their country and the nuclear reactor. Tragedy.

I’ve been following the news and feeling helpless, until I realized I CAN help. Thank you for this.
Hi Vered – It is a gut-wrenching feeling of helplessness as the magnitude of this disaster unfolds. Every little thing we do can mitigate it even in a small way. Thank you.
Hi Betsy,
Thank you for sharing this. What Japan is facing is heartbreaking. I know it won’t be easy for them to rebuild or to forget what has happened, but having worked for a Japanese corporation and having dear friends who are Japanese, I know with the brotherhood they share, their love for Japan and their dedication to hard work, Japan will come back even stronger. In the meantime, the process will undoubtedly be difficult. My prayers will remain with them.
