Close Encounters of the Western Kind

At the Corn Palace, Pete found something to shade the face - Mitchell, SD

Yes, we’re officially home and have spent the last couple of days unpacking, doing laundry, and hanging out in the home office. Yay! There’s so much work to do! While Pete is the professional photographer in this duo, I take photos while we travel, too. This trip I was using my Canon Powershot (I think that’s what it is; it’s red and cute and a couple years old, so very obsolete, of course) and my iPhone. I think the iPhone takes better photos, but there’s no zoom. So, I make do.

I’ve got lots to write about and work coming out my ears. So in the meantime, here are some random shots to make you feel like you were along! Click on ‘em if you cain’t see ‘em, pardner!

Looks as thought you had a wonderful time. Was the “home on the range” exit sign photo shopped? lol

Hi Jasmine – LOL! No, it wasn’t! The exit is in western North Dakota off I-94 in the vicinity of T. Roosevelt National Park. :)
