Dii Wellness Med Spa Bangkok

By Betsy Wuebker 20 Comments

(Last Updated On: January 24, 2017)

After being suspended in splendid serenity at Dii Wellness Med Spa, our other-worldly treatment regimen left us blissfully relaxed and rejuvenated.

Dii Wellness Med Spa is the multiple award-winning Divana Spa group’s flagship location at the upscale Central Embassy shopping complex in Bangkok. We recently had the opportunity to undergo Dii’s signature Ayurveda Black Marine treatment, which promises a superior state of bliss. Who could possibly resist? Obviously, someone had to do this!

The other-worldly atmosphere at Dii Wellness Med Spa

Dii (signifying Divana, Integration and Innovation) Wellness Med Spa offers a variety of treatments which bridge medical and aesthetic modalities.

Beauty and serenity

An offering of cold towel and juice welcomed us into an atmosphere of futuristic spiritual calm. The sparkling elements throughout the entry are designed to evoke the weightlessness of molecular infinity.

There are five treatment rooms at Dii Wellness Med Spa, which are entered via a reflective onyx corridor of shimmering hanging crystals. We felt as though we were suspended in a galaxy of stars.

Our double treatment room at Dii Wellness Med Spa felt like an oasis in a galaxy of stars

The theme continued in our double treatment room, which was luxuriously outfitted with two deep soaking tubs, heated massage tables, a steam shower, and supplied with Divana’s signature oils, potions and lotions. After changing into raw silk robes, we relaxed while our feet were bathed in a citrus and floral mix.

Happily anticipating our treatment

The Ayurveda Black Marine treatment is inspired by Oriental healing wisdom. Our masseuses used heated black jade, which is said to have restorative power. The silken oil they used was delicately  balanced to create just the right amount of sleek tension in their touch. While they worked on us, warm medicated oils were slowly poured onto the center of our foreheads (the Ayurvedic third eye) in a Shirodara technique, and we received a simultaneous detoxifying oxygen infusion. The most remarkable effect of all this was one of timeless suspension.

All too soon our three+ hours of exquisite pampering came to an end. Dii Wellness Med Spa promises this treatment will provide a sense of spiritual calm, and that you will feel rebalanced, revitalized and emerge with a “sense of youthfulness and gentle lusters.” We felt all that and then some. Never had either of us received such a luxurious combination of treatments.

While we’ve both had our fair share of different massage and spa treatments, our experience at Dii Wellness Med Spa was definitely other-worldly, above and beyond anything we’d previously encountered. Highly recommended!

Tips for Trip Success

Book Your Flight
Find an inexpensive flight by using CheapOAir, a favorite of ours because it regularly returns less expensive flight options from a variety of airlines.

Book Your Hotel or Special Accommodation
We are big fans of Booking.com. We like their review system and photos. If we want to see more reviews and additional booking options, we go to TripAdvisor.

You Need Travel Insurance!
Good travel insurance means having total peace of mind. Travel insurance protects you when your medical insurance often will not and better than what you get from your credit card. It will provide comprehensive coverage should you need medical treatment or return to the United States, compensation for trip interruption, baggage loss, and other situations.

The settings at the Dii Wellness Med Spa looks amazing. I can just imagine how great you guys felt after the session. When we do a normal spa treatment we fell so refreshed and those just don’t compare.

Hi Travelswith2ofus – We’ve had more spa treatments during these weeks in Thailand than we’ve had in years! You’re right, though, there is no comparison. Thanks!
