Bellagio Las Vegas: Soaking Up the Atmosphere

Hedonistic or Artistic? Take your pick or indulge both tendencies like we did in one marvelous day at Bellagio Las Vegas

Our recent trip to Las Vegas wasn’t just frivolous fun and games, people. We soaked up a serious bunch of atmosphere at Bellagio Las Vegas. Two completely different activities – one artistic and one hedonistic – made for a very enjoyable day!

Artistic Atmosphere at Bellagio

The Gallery of Fine Art at Bellagio Las Vegas was a favorite stop of ours on our last trip. We were happy to see it on the itinerary our friends at Allegiant Travel and the LVCVA had arranged. Our docent tour of Painting Women was led by a very knowledgeable fine arts graduate student from Serbia. Her perspective on the selection led us to understand how radical it was to be a woman who painted in a traditional society. As well, we learned how painters typically depicted women according to their contemporary mores.

These are my two personal favorites from the exhibit:

Hedonistic Atmosphere at Bellagio

Next, we were escorted from the Gallery through the velvet rope to Bellagio’s Cypress Premier Lounge and pool complex. Our group languished the afternoon away in our private cabana area. Each cabana comes complete with Sub-Zero fridge, flat-screen TV, changing area, dining table and lounges. Luxurious umbrella-shaded chaises were just outside. Pete was relieved I didn’t see the menu of poolside spa services – massage and pedicure, mostly – until too late. Don’t miss out like I did!

The Cypress Lounge area is open Spring through Fall. Soak up the hedonistic atmosphere by reserving lounge chairs, daybeds and cabanas at a daily rate. Poolside spa services, food and beverage are available at additional cost.

Please note that we were the guests of Allegiant Travel Company and its business partners on this trip. All opinions and observations in this series are our own.

Tips for Trip Success

Book Your Flight
Find an inexpensive flight by using Kayak, a favorite of ours because it regularly returns less expensive flight options from a variety of airlines.

Book Your Hotel or Special Accommodation
We are big fans of Booking.com. We like their review system and photos. If we want to see more reviews and additional booking options, we go to Expedia.

You Need Travel Insurance!
Good travel insurance means having total peace of mind. Travel insurance protects you when your medical insurance often will not and better than what you get from your credit card. It will provide comprehensive coverage should you need medical treatment or return to the United States, compensation for trip interruption, baggage loss, and other situations.Find the Perfect Insurance Plan for Your Tripimage 9133145 14418597
