(Last Updated On: January 19, 2018)

The bright lights of Las Vegas beckon millions of visitors every year, but the casinos aren’t the only reason to put America’s playground on your list!

If you were to ask a hundred people for their bucket list of destinations, we guarantee at least fifty of them would have Vegas. Yes, America’s playground is somewhere that you must visit at least once in your life and no it’s not all about the roulette table. There’s a lot more to Vegas than the casinos. Although, we have to admit the luxurious feel of the some of them are hard to resist. But let’s start somewhere a little less controversial.

The Hottest Hotels In The World

Have you ever wanted to bowl a perfect strike in your hotel room? Well, you can in Vegas at the Hard Rock Hotel. Okay, you will have to rent out the penthouse, and the prices are a tad high, but it’s certainly worth it. It’s a once in a lifetime experience, and even if you just stay there for a day, you will love the experience.

Of course, that’s not the only incredible hotel in Las Vegas. There’s also one – we’re not making this up – with a full-size roller coaster on the roof! And, if you just want to relax in luxury, you’ll certainly get that chance here. You can sleep on silk sheets, lie back in an incredible king sized beds and in some cases relax in a private jacuzzi. Though, you won’t be spending all your time in the hotel room. And when you do get out, you’re in for a real treat.

Those Lights That Shine

Vegas is arguably most beautiful when the sun sets, and the neon lights make the city glow. At least one night spent there should be used to travel around the city in a private car or limo to see all the hotels, casinos and attractions lit up like never before. We promise you, no matter where you’ve been before, you never seen anything quite like the bright lights of Las Vegas lit up to the max at night. Make sure you end your night tour by seeing the fountains at the Bellagio. You’ve probably witnessed these in famous films like Oceans 11. But there’s nothing quite like witnessing them for yourself.

Travel Further Than Before

Remember, Nevada has more than just Vegas, and if you want to travel even further, you’re within a car ride of the other famous ‘Los.’ We’re talking about the home of the stars: Los Angeles, a plastic paradise with incredible unique attractions of its own. You can combine the two in one massive trip. Included in the promotions, sales. and specials – travel deals – G Adventures offers a budget trip to LA and Las Vegas. This might be something you should consider because why visit one when you could see both.

Take In A Show

Finally, finish off your time in Vegas by taking in at least one show. There’s no reason not to with such an eclectic offering. If you love pop and want a taste of royalty, you could check out Britney Spears in concert, or if that’s not your style why not see a rodeo? That really does highlight how broad the differences in shows are here.

We hope you take our advice and book your own trip to explore America’s playground this year.

Tips for Trip Success

Book Your Flight
Find an inexpensive flight by using CheapOAir, a favorite of ours because it regularly returns less expensive flight options from a variety of airlines.

Book Your Hotel or Special Accommodation
We are big fans of Booking.com. We like their review system and photos. If we want to see more reviews and additional booking options, we go to TripAdvisor.

You Need Travel Insurance!
Good travel insurance means having total peace of mind. Travel insurance protects you when your medical insurance often will not and better than what you get from your credit card. It will provide comprehensive coverage should you need medical treatment or return to the United States, compensation for trip interruption, baggage loss, and other situations.
